About ten years ago, I got fed up and frustrated with God for not answering my prayers.
I rang my wife at home to share my predicament. I was at the verge of quitting on God, no more praying and no more church. That was it!!!!! I was hoping that my wife would sympathise with me as she knew what I was going through. All she said to me was, “If you give up on God, have you got another plan / option?” That question struck me badly. I had no plan B. It just dawned on me that, if I walked away from God, that would be the end of me.
After I got off the phone, I was down on my knees praying to God. I prayed like never before. My faith was revived, to cut the story short, the Lord answered my prayers in no time. When ever, I am cast down, I always remember how God made a way for me. If he did it then, he can still do it again and again and again!
Life is like a roller coaster. We go through good and bad seasons. When life turns sour, you have tried all you can and ALL HOPE is gone, the big questions which follow are, “Where are you God? Why me? Why have you forsaken me?
Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Don’t worry friend, the Lord is with you, he will see you through and nothing is too difficult for him.
God’s question to you is “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God wants you to stop crying about that situation. He wants you to approach him in faith and believing. You have to believe, You must believe, you MUST trust him. If God created the heavens, the earth and all that is in it, can’t he fix your problem?
