As I write this post, I am waiting on God to answer my prayers. It is not easy to wait on God. We tend to tell God what we want, how and when, but we need to know that His ways our not our ways, neither our thoughts are like His thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
Matthew 6:31-34 (NIV)
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
The focus of todays message is Seeking the Kingdom of God and his Righteousness. Once we obtain these. We are entitled to all the things that we desire. God will add these things (prosperity, favour, promotion, healing, marriage, children, knowledge, home, car etc) to our lives. God promises to answer us even before we get to pray or ask.
Isaiah 65:24 says, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”
Just for illustration – The benefits entitled to a citizen of a Country are greater than for a migrant. The life and benefits of a migrant can only change once they obtain the citizenship of that Country. However to enjoy the benefits of the Country, they must strictly abide in the nation’s rules and legislations.
Like wise, it is so in God’s Kingdom. If you repent from all sin and abide in God’s commandments, you become a part taker of His Kingdom. Automatically you will inherit the unlimited blessings from God. He will not withhold any good thing from you.
I pray for you today, to restructure your priorities. As you put God first, He will be attentive to your desires. He will, and SURELY HE WILL ANSWER YOU!
